We are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life. We believe that children learn best in a quality environment that is happy, nurturing, engaging, and safe. We understand the children learn and develop in different ways and provide an environment that is responsive to our children’s capabilities in order for all children to experience feelings of success and accomplishment.

Our long-daycare centre is located at 2 Platz Street in Darling Heights, Toowoomba. Open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, our centre provides plenty of onsite parking for families. We are conveniently situated just a 1-minute drive from Darling Heights State School, and Harristown State Primary School is just a short 4-minute drive away.

We recognise the importance of our role in guiding and teaching children how to protect and honour our natural world for future generations. This has laid the foundations for the unique design of our premium early education facility, with natural and sustainable materials used throughout.

Your little one will love exploring our natural playgrounds that include an adventure fort, bike tracks, water pump, teepee, vegetable garden, and chicken coop. Modern classrooms are complete with educational resources that complement our curriculum and ensure your child’s learning needs and interests are met. We also have a special pet turtle named Donnie for you to love!

Meet Our Centre Director

Kate Tunny

Kate Tunny
My name is Kate and I am the Centre Director at Grow Early Education Darling Heights. I have worked in the Early Years Sector for many years, and have a passion for providing an environment that is welcoming, where children have the opportunity to thrive and develop into the best versions of themselves.

I strive to work closely with Educators, parents, and caregivers to provide children with the foundations they need to become confident, successful learners in a positive and supportive learning environment. Our educational programs are engaging, embedding the Abecedarian Approach, and most importantly, they are lots of fun.

My aim is to inspire my professional team of Educators to provide the highest quality of care. I aim to foster an environment where families feel confident to leave their children, and where Educators are proud and passionate each and every day. The wellbeing of everyone is a high priority of mine!
