At Grow Early Education Bundaberg North, we are passionate about giving children the best possible start in life. We are so pleased to offer an exceptional standard of childcare to the Bundaberg community.

We believe that children learn best in a quality environment that is happy, nurturing, engaging, and safe. Our centre is a home-away-from-home for our families where everyone belongs.

Our warm and homely long-daycare centre is located at 1 Barber Street right next to Bundaberg North State School. Designed to be a haven for children and families, our centre features the use of sustainable and natural materials throughout. Beautifully landscaped outdoor play areas are complete with a chicken coop and free-range chickens, a vegetable garden full of fresh produce, a sensory garden, a recycled timber teepee, an exciting adventure fort, and a water pump with an interactive play area.

Our age-appropriate classrooms are equipped with carefully selected educational resources, including interactive whiteboard technology in the senior classrooms to enhance children’s learning experiences.

Our centre design complements our play-based curriculum. Through our curriculum, we aim to inspire children and equip them with the skills needed to be successful life-long learners. We prioritise ensuring every child experiences feelings of success and accomplishment, and we tailor our curriculum to each child’s stage of learning.

We offer a number of extracurricular activities to extend on children’s interests and enhance their learning. Our children love our weekly yoga and fitness classes with the Future Champs Sports Program. Our Kindergarten children enjoy their weekly Bush Kindy classes. We also enjoy fortnightly Indigenous culture incursions from Taribelang Indigenous Program.

Sustainability and gardening programs are built into the curriculum, with an importance placed on teaching children to love and protect the world we live in. Our children love their time in our gardens, where we grow vegetables and herbs, and then harvest them to use in their nutritious meals.

Contact us today to book a tour of our beautiful childcare centre. We look forward to welcoming you to our Grow family.

Meet Our Centre Director

Miss Mel

I began my career in the early childhood education industry in 2001, before starting my own family. I returned 12 years ago, working my way up from Room Leader to Director.

I am passionate about the industry. I understand the importance the first five years has on a child’s life to build the foundation that shapes future health, happiness, growth, development and learning achievements at school, in the family and community, and in life in general. I believe that nature is a powerful teacher, and through play and exploration, children will develop the skills that are needed to succeed later in life.

As a proud mum of four children, I understand the importance of quality care and I am dedicated to providing children with opportunities to develop and grow.

I believe it takes a village to raise a child, and here at Grow Early Education Bundaberg North we are excited to be a part of your village.
