Our Curriculum
The early years of a child’s life are a time of incredible growth and opportunity. It is important that everything a child experiences becomes a valuable learning and life experience that shapes their growth, development and wellbeing.
With this in mind we have designed large inspiring play spaces that allow children to learn through exploratory play. Our emergent curriculum promotes hands on opportunities for children to engage with others, explore, use imagination, problem solve and make decisions in order to make sense of their world.
We also recognise the importance of using early education programs as a platform for guiding children’s understanding of their natural environment. Our educators focus on genuine connections and contributions to caring for our natural world by involving children in sustainable gardening, recycling, up cycling, use of sustainable materials, water and energy conservation and community projects.
At Grow we believe that children are capable learners and therefore provide optimum opportunities for all children to be successful learners for life.

At Grow Early Education we embrace the Early Years Framework’s definition of play based learning as a ‘context for learning through which children organise and make sense of their social worlds, as they actively engage with people, objects and representations. (ELYF, 2009,P46.)
